Canadian Immigration System

The Canadian immigration system is divided into separate departments and offices which are dealing with the different Canada visa categories. Though all Canadian visa submissions are now primarily sent to a central office since 2008. This centralization of visa applications means that the total time taken to complete an application is really reduced.

The office a visa application will be sent certainly depends on the category it belongs to; this is determined by the qualifying standards of an application.

The department for Canadian immigration has also introduced priority dealing out for certain Canadian visas, in addition they have powers to make bigger this to some countries, recently announcing that visa applications from the Haiti would be fast-tracked because of the Earthquake there.
